Sterilize seeds before placing them on wet germination paper. Then germinate under an alternating temperature regime of 15\/20\u00baC (the higher temperature for 16 hours of light and the lower one for 8 hours of dark).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Morphology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit:<\/strong> Nut<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed:<\/strong> Nutlets ovoid-ellipsoid, dorsal and ventral side convex, areole (whitish hilum at the base) bi-lobed. Surface with light round tubercles, slightly lustrous, dark-brown.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed size<\/strong>: Length: 1.8-1.9 mm, width 1-1.1 mm<\/p>\n<p>in an accession from Qaznin with 1000 seed weight 2.1 g, which was collected in 2005 by Akbarinia, and the cultivated sample was identified by Ziba Jamehzad with accession number 17056.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1000 seed weight:<\/strong> 2.1 g.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Biological features<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Life form<\/strong>: Annual, stem erect, simple or branched at the base.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inflorescence and Inflorescence and flower type and pollination mechanisms: <\/strong>Inflorescence long pedunculate cyme branched dichotomously, peduncle 5-30 mm in length. Flowers hermaphrodite, zygomorphic, corolla pink-purple to blue, with spotted lower lip, 7-8 mm long. Plant monoecious, cross-pollinate. Pollination is carried out by insects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flowering Period: <\/strong>Late spring<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time of seed ripening: <\/strong>Late summer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed dispersal methods: <\/strong>The seeds are displaced by weight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geographical distribution:<\/strong> Iran, Central Asia, and Afghanistan. Typus from Iran.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Distribution in Iran:<\/strong> In North, Northwest, center, East, South, and South East.
