Sterilize seeds before placing them on wet germination paper. Place seeds two weeks in 4\u00baC to germinate uniformly. Then germinate under an alternating temperature regime of 15\/20 \u00baC (the higher temperature for 16 hours in light and the lowest one for eight hours in dark).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Morphology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit<\/strong><strong> type<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Legume<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit shape:<\/strong> Semi orbicular, spiny to spineless, with prominent longitudinal lines, hairy to hairless<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed shape:<\/strong> Reniform; seed coat smooth, yellowish \u2013light brown; radicle less than half the seed length.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit size:<\/strong> Length 14.5-16 mm, maximum width 9-11 mm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed size:<\/strong> Length 3.5-4.5 mm, maximum width 2-3 mm in an accession from Khalkhal, Ardebil with 1000 fruit weight 62 g, which was collected in 2014 by Nuri, and the cultivated sample was identified by Hasan Amirabadizadeh with accession number 44548.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1000 fruit weight:<\/strong> 15-62 g<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Biological features<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Life form:<\/strong> Annual herb, erect<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inflorescences and flower type and pollination mechanisms: <\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">cymose<\/span>\u00a02-5 flowered, flowers hermaphrodite, zygomorphic and asymmetric; corolla (formed from banner: upper large petal, wings: two petals adjacent to the banner, and keel: two bottom petals) purple, pink-violet, wings as long as the keel; stamens are always ten in number, and their filaments are fused in a group of nine stamens plus one separate stamen (9+1). Plant monoecious, facultative cross-pollinate, which is carried out by insects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time<\/strong> <strong>of<\/strong> <strong>flowering:<\/strong> July-August<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time of seed ripening:<\/strong> August-September<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed dispersal methods:<\/strong> The seeds are displaced by weight. Pods move by attaching to the wool and hair of animals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geographical distribution:<\/strong> Iraq, Iran, Turcomania, Afghanistan. Typus according to Flora Iranica:\u00a0 Oriens, D. GRARD, Herb. LINN 921\/71.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Distribution in Iran:<\/strong> West, North, East, South, and center.
