Sterilize seeds before placing them on wet germination paper. Place seeds at 4 \u00baC for two weeks to germinate uniformly, then germinate under an alternating temperature regime of 15-20 \u00baC (the higher temperature for 16 hours of light and the lower one for eight hours of dark).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Morphology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit<\/strong> <strong>type:<\/strong> Silicule<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit shape:<\/strong> Orbicular, swollen on both sides, sunken at the tip, glabrous, 4 seeded<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit size:<\/strong> Diameter 3-4 mm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed<\/strong><strong> shape<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Ovate, surrounded with thin or intermediate wing, surface with shallow pits, light brown<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed size<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Length 1-1.2 mm, width 1-1.2 mm in an accession from Sadugh, Yazd, with 1000 seed weight 0.8 g, which was collected in 2005 by Arabzadeh, and the cultivated sample was identified by Valiollah Mozafarian and Saideh Sadat Mirzadeh Vaghefi with accession number 21009.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Average 1000 seed weight:<\/strong> 0.4-2 g<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Biological features<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Life Form:<\/strong> Herbaceous, perennial, height up to 16 cm, multi-branched, stem erect<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flower type and pollination mechanism:<\/strong> Inflorescences raceme, flowers bisexual, sepals ovate, 1-2 mm long and 0.5-1 mm wide, petals dumbbell shape, 1.5-2.2 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, color yellow. Plant monoecious, cross-pollinate. Pollination is carried out by both wind (anemophily) and insects (<em>entomophily<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time of flowering: <\/strong>February to middle of April<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time of seed ripening:<\/strong> Late May<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed dispersal methods:<\/strong> Natural agents (wind, insects, birds and animals)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geographical distribution:<\/strong> Europe, Turkey, Iran, Caucasus, Central Asia, Siberia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and Syria.
