Sterilize seeds before placing them on wet germination paper. Place seeds for two weeks at 4 \u00baC to germinate uniformly. Then germinate under an alternating temperature regime of 15\/20 \u00baC (the higher temperature for 16 hours in light and the lower one for eight hours in dark).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Morphology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit type: <\/strong>Schizocarp (schizocarp is an indehiscent dry fruit that consists of two not compressed or compressed lattraly\/dorsally carpels called mericarp)\u200c<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit shape:<\/strong> Mericarps semiglobose, homomorphic, dorsal side convex with ten low and narrow ribs (five primary-sinuate, five secondary straight), ventral side concave. Dorsal surface roughen, glabrous, dull, straw color<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit size: <\/strong>Length 3.75 to 4.59 mm, width 2.99 to 3.76 mm in an accession from Boshruye, North Khorasan, with 1000 seed\/fruit weight 5.98 g, which was collected and identified in 2012 by Ali Nakhaei and is stored in the Natural Resources Gene Bank of Iran with the accession 38943.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Average 1000 seed\/fruit weight: <\/strong>2.9 to 8 g<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Biological<\/strong> <strong>features<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Life form: <\/strong>Herbaceous, annual or biennials, glabrous. Stems erect, 20 to 70 cm height<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inflorescence, flower type, and pollination mechanism:<\/strong> Inflorescence compound umbel, with 3 to 5 rays, 1 to 2 cm in long; external flowers of umbellule zygomorphic, white or pale pink. \u200cPlant monoecious, \u200ccross-pollinated.
