Sterilize seeds before placing them on wet germination paper. Place seeds for two weeks at 4 \u00baC to germinate uniformly. Then germinate under an alternating temperature regime of 15\/20 \u00baC (the higher temperature for 16 hours in light and the lower one for eight hours in dark).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Morphology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit type:<\/strong> Silicle<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit shape:<\/strong> Elliptic-obovoid, compressed, beaked, pubescent, 2-seeded<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit size: <\/strong>Length 2.5 to 4 mm, width 1.5 to 2.2 mm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed shape: <\/strong>Elliptic, apex rounded, tip of the radicle narrowed, hilum with a slight callus, radicle furrow distinct, wingless or with thin wing. Surface glabrous, indistinct reticulate, brown<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed size: <\/strong>Length 1.61 to 1.89 mm, width 0.86 to 1.02 mm in an accession from Aghbolagh village, Zanjan, with 1000 seeds weight 0.22 g, which was collected and identified in 2016 by Mohammad Mahmoodi, and is stored in the Natural Resources Gene Bank of Iran with the accession number 46158.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Average 1000 seed weight: <\/strong>0.2 to 0.7 g<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Biological<\/strong> <strong>features<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Life form: <\/strong>Subshrub, perennial, woody at base, pubescent. Stems numerous, erect, height 10 to 20 cm, green-silver<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inflorescence, flower type, and pollination mechanism:<\/strong> Inflorescence corymb, flowers actinomorphic, sepals lanceolate, margin membranous, short-lived, petals spatulate, obtuse or emarginated at base, yellow. Flowers hermaphrodite and cross-pollinating. Pollination is carried out by insects and wind.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time<\/strong> <strong>of<\/strong> <strong>flowering<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Spring<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time of seed ripening<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Late spring to early summer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed dispersal methods:<\/strong> Wind and seed weight<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geographical distribution<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Endemic to Iran.
