Sterilize seeds before placing them on wet germination paper. Place seeds for two weeks at 4 \u00baC to germinate uniformly. Then germinate under an alternating temperature regime of 15\/20 \u00baC (the higher temperature for 16 hours in light and the lower one for eight hours in dark).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Morphology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit type:<\/strong> Silicle<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit shape:<\/strong> Elliptic to obovoid, beaked, wing papery, green or purple<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit size: <\/strong>Length 6 to 9 mm; width 5 to 7 mm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed shape:<\/strong> Obovoid, apex rounded, bottom gradually narrowed, radicular furrow distinct. Surface faint reticulate, orange-brown<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed size: <\/strong>Length 1.43 to 2.09 mm, width 0.68 to 1.19 mm in an accession from Chalus, Mazandaran, with 1000 seeds weight 0\/8 g, which was collected and identified in 2018 by Shahram kiadaliri and the cultivated sample was identified by Shahram Kiadaliri, and is stored in the Natural Resources Gene Bank of Iran with the accession number 47177.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Average 1000 seed weight: <\/strong>0.8 to 2.4 g<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Biological<\/strong> <strong>features<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Life form: <\/strong>Perennial, woody at the base, 25 to 50 cm height<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inflorescence, flower type, and pollination mechanism:<\/strong> Inflorescence raceme, terminal, flowers actinomorphic, calyx green or purple, corolla rectangular-spatulate, pink, light purple or white,.\u00a0 Flowers hermaphrodite and cross-pollinating.
