Sterilize seeds before placing them on wet germination paper. Place seeds for two weeks at 4 \u00baC to germinate uniformly. Then germinate under an alternating temperature regime of 15\/20 \u00baC (the higher temperature for 16 hours in light and the lower one for eight hours in dark).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Morphology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit type:<\/strong> Silicle<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit shape:<\/strong> Spherical, not compressed, beaked, pubescent, 2-seeded, purpele<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit size: <\/strong>Length 3 to 5.5 mm; width 3 to 5 mm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed shape:<\/strong> Elliptic, apex rounded, hilum with a slight callus, radicle furrow distinct, wingless. Surface glabrous, indistinct reticulate, cotyledon part brown with dark spots, radical part orange-brown<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed size: <\/strong>Length 1.55 to 1.78 mm, width 0.84 to 1.12 mm in an accession from Faminin, Hamadan, with 1000 seeds weight 0.35 g, which was collected and identified in 2019 by Mohammad Mahmoodi and Yousef Ajani, and is stored in the Natural Resources Gene Bank of Iran with the accession number 47767.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Average 1000 seed weight: <\/strong>0.35 g<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Biological<\/strong> <strong>features<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Life form: <\/strong>Perennial, subshrub, woody at base, pubescent. Stems numerous, erect to ascending, height 7 to 18 cm height<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inflorescence, flower type, and pollination mechanism:<\/strong> Inflorescence panicle, flowers actinomorphic, spherical-like, sepals ovate, short-lived, petals elongated cordate, apex optuse or emarginated, yellow. Flowers hermaphrodite and cross-pollinating. Pollination is carried out by insects and wind.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time<\/strong> <strong>of<\/strong> <strong>flowering:<\/strong> Early to mid-spring<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time of seed ripening:<\/strong> Late spring<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed dispersal methods:<\/strong> Wind and seed weight<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geographical distribution<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Endemic to Iran.
