To remove physical dormancy (Stratification), Pre-Chilling (for 14 days), Ultrasonic Waves and Hormones (Gibberellic acid 100ppm) are affect. The best methods for remove seed coat and physical dormancy are sandpaper and pre-chilling (14 days at 4\u00b0C) respectively. Then germinate under a constant temperature of 25\u00baC or with an alternating temperature regime of 15\/20\u00baC (with an 8\/16hr photoperiod).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Morphology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit type:<\/strong> Pod<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit shape:\u200c<\/strong> Bilocular, ovate, pobescent, stalkless<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit size:<\/strong> Length 6.5 mm, width 3.5 mm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed shape:<\/strong> Prolonged elliptic to rhomboid, apex and base aslant, slight flattish, \u200c hilum sunken, rounded, with pale surrounding. Surface wrinkled, glabrous, slight lustrous\u200c, color yellowish brown, \u200coften faint spotted<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed size:<\/strong> Length 3.74 to 4.15 mm, width 2.26 to 2.66 mm in an accession from Hamedan, with 1000 seeds weight 5.8 g, which was collected and identified in 2016 by Mohammad Mahmoodi and is stored in the\u00a0 Natural Resources Gene Bank of Iran with an accession number 46590.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Average 1000 seed weight:<\/strong> 5.8 g<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Biological<\/strong> <strong>features<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Life form: <\/strong>Subshrub, perennial, woody at base, pubescent. Stems procumbent, height 6 to 7 cm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inflorescence, flower type, and pollination mechanism:<\/strong> Inflorescence raceme, 8- to 12-flowered, flowers hermaphrodite, zygomorphic, papilionaceous, corolla (composed of banner: upper large petal, wings: two petals adjacent to the banner, and keel: two bottom petals) dirty-looking yellow, wings longer than the keel. Plant monoecious, cross-pollinated. Pollination is carried out by insects and wind.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time of flowering: <\/strong>Late spring<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time of seed ripening: <\/strong>Late spring<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed dispersal methods: <\/strong>Seed weight and animals<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geographical distribution: <\/strong>Endemic to Iran.
