To remove physical dormancy (Stratification), Pre-Chilling (for 14 days), Ultrasonic Waves and Hormones (Gibberellic acid 100ppm) are affect. The best methods for remove seed coat and physical dormancy are sandpaper and pre-chilling (14 days at 4\u00b0C) respectively. Then germinate under a constant temperature of 25\u00baC or with an alternating temperature regime of 15\/20\u00baC (with an 8\/16hr photoperiod).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Morphology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit type:<\/strong> Pod<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit shape:\u200c <\/strong>Monolocular, prolongate ellipsoid, subovate or circular, pobescent, ventral side straight, dorsal side subcureved, stalkless at base, beaked<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit size: <\/strong>Length 3 to 5.5 mm, width 2 to 3 mm, thickness 2 to 3 mm, beak length 0.5 to 2 mm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed shape: <\/strong>Reniform, slight flattish, \u200c hilum sunken, rounded, with pale surrounding. Surface wrinkled, glabrous, slight lustrous\u200c, color pale brown, \u200coften faint spotted<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed size: <\/strong>Length 2.89 to 3.91 mm, width 1.95 \u00a0to 2.25 \u00a0mm in an accession from Shahrekourd, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, with 1000 seeds weight 6.8 g, which was collected and identified in 2016 by Hamzeali Shirmardi and is stored in Natural Resources of Gene Bank with an accession number 46745.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Average 1000 seed weight: <\/strong>1.5 to 3.5 g<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Biological<\/strong> <strong>features<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Life form: <\/strong>Subshrub and cushion-like, perennial, pubescent. Stems spreading or erect, height 10 to 25 cm, rarely up to 40 cm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inflorescence, flower type, and pollination mechanism:<\/strong> Inflorescence raceme, many-flowered, flowers hermaphrodite, zygomorphic, papilionaceous, corolla (composed of banner: upper large petal, wings: two petals adjacent to the banner, and keel: two bottom petals) bluish purple, wings longer than the keel. Plant monoecious, cross-pollinated. Pollination is carried out by insects and wind.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time of flowering: <\/strong>Spring<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time of seed ripening: <\/strong>Spring<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seed dispersal methods: <\/strong>Seed weight and animals<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geographical distribution: <\/strong>Endemic to Iran. Typus from Fars<\/p>\n<p><strong>Distribution in Iran: <\/strong>Center and South.
